The Samsung Galaxy M51 has a huge 7,000 mAh battery.
Samsung has once again raised the bar on its smartphones’ batteries with the launch of the keenly priced Samsung Galaxy M51.
The M51 ships with a monstrous 7,000 mAh battery - which is 1,000 mAh more capacity than the brilliant Samsung Galaxy M31s launched earlier few days back and which quickly sold out.
The Galaxy M31s is easily capable of lasting three days between charges and owners of the Galaxy M51 can probably expect similar battery life. When it eventually does need a top up, the Galaxy M51 has 25-Watt fast charging, which means it shouldn’t take long at all to recharge.
The M51 has a 6.7in Super AMOLED Plus display, which is pushing it close to the 6.9in Galaxy Note 20 in terms of screen size. It has a 1080 x 2340 screen resolution, which is the same resolution as the M31s and only marginally worse than the 1,080 x 2,400 resolution of the Note 20.
The M51 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G, which should give it a performance edge over the M31s, although it will be some way behind the flagship devices.
On the camera front, it has a 64-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide, a 5-megapixel macro and a depth sensor to support live focus. The front-facing selfie camera is 32-megapixels. It does support 4K video capture, but only at 30 frames per second.
